Incorporated in 1693, Glastonbury is one of Connecticut’s oldest municipalities.  Conveniently located approximately 10 miles southeast of the state’s capital city, Glastonbury’s nearly 35,000 residents enjoy historic sites, picturesque parks and open spaces, convenient access to the Connecticut River and countless programs and activities offered by the Town and local organizations.
