IT Project Manager/Business Analyst

Position Summary
The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams across domestic and international UIW sites to facilitate business analysis and management of project activities. Key responsibilities include managing project operations to support the successful implementation of technological processes and/or system improvements. Additionally, the IT Project Manager/Business Analyst is responsible for assessing business processes, documenting requirements, and delivering data-driven processes and/or technological recommendations that will improve efficiencies and add value. The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst reports to the Assistant Director of Enterprise Applications.

- Experience of knowledge in Microsoft productivity tools.
- Strong skills in writing SQL queries to analyze and create end-user reports.
- Strong skills in writing and modifying reports utilizing reporting tools.

- Ability to effectively coordinate project activities.
- Effective oral, written and non-verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively pivot communication style to address the needs of the audience and shifting priorities.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or relevant degree.
Required Work Experience
- Three (3) years of professional experience in the field of business analysis. Note that complex internships will be considered.
- Two (2) years of professional complex project management experience facilitating business process reviews and documenting current processes, gaps, and desired future states. Note that complex internships will be considered.
- Two (2) years of experience developing and executing presentations for audiences with various technical levels within an organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Four (4) years of professional experience in the field of business analysis.
- Three (3) years experience facilitating business process reviews, documenting current processes, gaps, and desired future state.
- Three (3) years experience working in an educational/university environment.
- Three (3) experience working with Ellucian Banner Applications.
- Three (3) years of experience facilitating business process reviews and documenting outcomes.
- Three (3) years of experience using reporting tools such as Argos and Microsoft Power BI.
- Knowledge of higher education administrative areas and their function, such as the roles within the recruitment, admissions, registration, billing, and business/finance departments.
- Familiarity with higher education organizational structure, policies, and procedures.
- Business Analysis or Project Management certification.
- Bilingual in Spanish.

Work Hours
Mon through Fri 8am to 5pm with extended hours as needed to meet departmental goals.
Physical Demands
Ability to regularly move about campus to attend meetings on and off main campus.
